Commercial Hazardous Tree Removal — Brock

Brock, ON 1.2 acre commercial lot Commercial Property
Crew removing a large hazardous tree on a commercial property

Project Overview

A commercial property in Brock, ON had several large, storm-weakened trees leaning toward an active parking area and building entrance. The property manager needed the hazard cleared quickly without disrupting tenant access.

The Challenge

Several large trees showed visible decay and lean directly over a paved parking area used daily by tenants and customers. Standard felling wasn't an option given the proximity to vehicles, the building, and pedestrian walkways — the removal needed to happen with the lot still partially in use.

What We Did

Bucket truck

Rigging & rope systems

Wood chipper

Stump grinder

Safety Measures

Work zones were cordoned off in phases to keep sections of the lot open throughout the job. Ground crew maintained clear drop zones and spotter communication throughout every rigged lower, with signage directing tenant traffic around active work areas.

Before & After

Results

All hazard trees were removed and the site cleared within the scheduled window, with the parking lot never fully closed to tenants. The property manager received full documentation and photos for their records.
